What’s the best way to start a vacation?
Delayed flight, of course!! After a 2 hr delay in the forward journey at Oakland, we eventually got into the ATA flight to Kahului. By the time we reached at Maui, it was about 4pm HST, 2.5 hrs behind original schedule. Eventually after a car rental at Thrifty, we got out of the airport area around 5 pm and we knew for sure that it was gonna get dark by the time we reached home. So we decide to get some stuff on the way and we hit the 1st super shop we found – hooray! costco and then stopping again on the way at the Lahaina cannery mall to get some dinner and after a short visit to the safeway there , we finally reached our condo at 9pm. It was a long long day and we decide to call it a night and hit the bed straight on.
